One day, we chose a different way home to Gloucester after a trip to Taree. Taree is on the mid-north coast of New South Wales and Gloucester is about an hour inland from there and has semi-coastal weather. After passing through my childhood home at Mount George, we crossed the mighty Manning River at Tiri and headed for Bundook. Along the way we came to an old dairy farm that hadn’t been operational for over 20 years, and the house and dairy bails had seen better days. This is a painting of the forlorn memories of that place after it had been a vibrant and profitable enterprise in days gone by.
