Rising Mist

Rising Mist is currently available at Keramik Arte, Aegeristrasse 16, Zug, Switzerland.

One from the Red Series of paintings that were very successful. It depicts in semi-abstraction, the way tendrils of fog creep upwards in steady drifts when bright sunlight makes the trees glow in morning magnificence. The Ironbark and Argylle apple trees have grown very tall in the forest as they reach for daylight, and the mists gradually dissipate, revealing gorgeous trunks of blues, greys and black (from former bushfires).
