On the anniversary of the death of our oldest son, I was thinking of those times. My daughter, who was very close to him, decided to travel around Australia, presumably to get away from our loss. She ended up travelling three times around our land, sending back glorious photographs. I painted many landscapes from these photos at the time and have now revisited some, but changed them to aerial views with abstract aspects.
