After a trip to a rainforest patch on my son’s property, I was inspired to paint this scene. There is so much going on in a rainforest that I decided to paint in an abstract style. I added some symbols that New Guinea cultures use for good and bad spirits in their jungles. Squares and rectangles are bad and circles are good in their culture.
